New Brucites from Pakistan

These new brucites from the Kharan District in Balochistan, Pakistan have redefined quality and aesthetics for this unusual Magnesium mineral, previously known in generally dull, waxy green to white crystals from Pennsylvania, South Africa, and Russia. These specimens featured rounded, platy brucite crystals with vibrant lemon-yellow color and bright luster, and often occur as aesthetic aggregates of rounded crystals perched on white brucite and gray matrix. We were lucky to secure a lot of some of the best of these new brucites recently and are offering some great specimens from this lot here. The scope of the find was fairly limited, and these are sure to become future classics for the species.
