A VERY RARE matrix specimen of neptunite featuring multiple (!) twins. These x-shaped twins have fascinated collectors of the species, locale, and/or California minerals for years, and are amongst the most desirable specimens that come from this iconic US locality. These interpenetration twins are seldom seen on matrix, and to have 4-5 on one specimen, as seen here, is outstanding.
