Among the most coveted specimens from Michigan’s Copper Country are the iconic copper included calcites. This example from the Quincy Mine (the premier locality for this association) features a large and highly gemmy calcite crystal with scattered copper inclusions and associations. Even nicer and gemmier in person – with depth and light refraction that simply cannot be captured in the photo. Includes custom base.
