A fantastic and old-time copper specimen with copper included calcite from the world-famous Keweenaw Peninsula of Michigan. Sharp, gemmy, and lustrous calcite with perfect terminations is nestled amongst an aesthetic display of copper crystals. Displays well from multiple angles and self-standing from photographed angle. In fantastic condition.
A historic specimen with history at the Philadelphia Academy of Natural Sciences, by way of S.B. Whiting, eventually making it to Collector’s Edge in 2006, then to the collection of Irv Brown, and finally, the Spanns.
Includes Spann label, and two old labels.
