This is a very fine cabinet specimen of fluorapophyllite from the old-time locality of the San Martin Mine in Zacatecas, Mexico. Reminiscent of the pink apophyllites sometimes seen from St Andreasberg in Germany, these Mexican specimens are highly collectible for their color, which, less the aforementioned locality, is very uncommon for the species.
This is a large specimen for the find + it is in very good condition and includes a custom base. Nice!
