Quartz v. Amethyst

There’s not much to say that hasn’t already been said about the iconic amethyst that come out of Veracruz, Mexico. Renowned for their beautiful aesthetics and color, they are unmistakable, and an essential in any mineral collection. This is a fantastic and aesthetic spray of gemmy purple crystals. In good condition, with nearly all points terminated. Note there is one significant contacted crystal on the back where it grew into another crystal face. It is mostly complete, but chipped on one edge.
